Gareth Mills Phillips has amassed extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and application development. Gareth has held various roles throughout their career, starting with RBD Design in 2019, where they worked as a VR developer for Oculus GO. Gareth then joined Catalyst VR as an AR developer, where they worked on projects such as creating a product brand environment and developing an Easter Bunny AR app.

In 2019, Gareth also worked at Bigman Ltd. as an AR developer, where they developed a high-class app experience for AA recruitment events. Gareth then returned to Catalyst VR for a brief period to develop an AR portal and doorway experience.

Gareth's expertise extends to mobile app development as well. Gareth worked at Boing Splash Media Ltd. as a mobile app developer, where they developed the company's first app for beekeepers and added to an existing AR Foundation app.

In 2018, Gareth worked at Eco Built Systems as a lead software developer, where they built Phase 1 of the Eco Builder software. This tool allowed sales reps and customers to design products, estimate costs in real time, and request a quote.

Before that, Gareth worked at TechArts as a head software engineer, managing developer accounts and handling app projects from pitch to deployment.

Gareth Mills Phillips received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects from the University of South Wales. Gareth attended the university from 1997 to 2002.
