Duncan Rein

Duncan leads the trading team at the office in Birmingham, Alabama. Duncan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Chemical Engineering. After a successful start in management consulting, Duncan spent eight years helping churches and other Christian ministries broadcast their message over the Internet. As co-founder and CEO of LifeAudio.com, he led the company through the acquisition, turnaround, and eventual sale of Lightsource.com and Christianity.com, while also building a web design and consulting firm known as Silas Partners. After selling Silas Partners, Duncan took a break from startups and worked for three years at an energy trading firm, where he learned the basics of wholesale power markets. After taking some time off, and being unable to shake the entrepreneurial impulse, Duncan began to conceptualize Tios Capital and then joined with Brian to translate vision into reality.
