Rana Kanaan

Rana Kanaan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Rana's most recent position is at Tipalti, where they started in 2021. They have held multiple roles within the company, including Technical Account Manager, Senior Technical Account Manager, and currently serving as a Senior Integration Manager.

Prior to Tipalti, Rana worked at ARZ consulting in 2019 as a Technical Support Consultant.

From 2015 to 2019, Rana worked at Nexu Transaction Technologies Ltd as a Global Support Manager. Their responsibilities included providing operational support for software solutions used by international corporations in various countries. This included overseeing the gift voucher system for Specsavers in the UK and Nordic countries, prepaid airtime software for Roshan Telecom in Afghanistan, and airtime distribution software for Etisalat in the UAE.

In 2014, Rana worked as the Global CR/TS director at Hult International Business School.

Before that, Rana served as the Regional Business Development Manager at PrivInvest Holding from 2010 to 2014. Their role involved managing customer relationships and overseeing the project cycle for the electronic distribution services division.

From 2008 to 2010, Rana held the position of Regional IT Manager at One Prepay, where they led a division and provided technical support and solution design for clients such as Carrefour, Dubai Duty Free, and Dubai Police.

In 2007, Rana worked as a Technology Consultant at VendTek Systems, where they supported the company's operations in the Middle East and Africa. They played a crucial role in diagnosing and solving technical problems, as well as discovering a security breach that was vital for the company's stability.

Rana's early work experience includes being a Teaching/Research Assistant at the American University in 2005, where they focused on courses such as Data Structure and C++ and Bio-informatics.

Rana Kanaan began their education in 1999 at IUL, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Communication Engineering in 2004. After this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Continuing and Community Education (CCE) at the American University of Beirut. In 2013, Rana enrolled at Hult International Business School and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in 2014.
