Stephanie Koop began their work experience in 2017 as an Assistant to the Director at Harambee, a non-profit organization focused on creating long-term relationships between families. Stephanie assisted in developing programs for youth and led seminars on various social issues. In 2018, Stephanie worked as a Research Assistant at the University of the Fraser Valley. Later that year, they joined Slater Vecchio LLP - Personal Injury Lawyers as a Receptionist and then became a Mediations Coordinator. In 2020, Stephanie worked at Hootsuite as an Executive Assistant and later as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator until 2021. Currently, they are a Talent Acquisition Partner at Tipalti, a fintech company specializing in financial execution for high-velocity companies.
Stephanie Koop earned their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Research from the University of the Fraser Valley, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues" from LinkedIn in March 2021 and "TCPS 2: CORE" from the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans in January 2017.
