Alexander Spiteri Magro

Alexander Spiteri Magro is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as Team Lead Data Engineering at Tipico since August 2023. Prior to this role, Alexander held the position of Team Lead Data Warehousing at MeDirect Bank Malta from June 2022 to August 2023, and previously worked at Tipico as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer from February 2018 to May 2022, focusing on real-time data pipelines and Data Lake technologies. Alexander’s career began as a Data Warehouse Developer at ComeOn! and co-founder of Shake Bench, an award-winning startup, and includes early experience in the aviation industry as cabin crew at Air Malta.
