Genki Ito has worked in a variety of roles in the business sector since 2008. Genki began their career as a Recruitment Consultant for JAC Recruitment Co., Ltd. in 2008. Genki then moved on to become a Sales Representative for Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. in 2009, where they were responsible for developing new clients, cultivating new sales channels, and marketing SAKE/SHOCHU with partnering American wine/liquor distributors. In 2015, they attended the USC Marshall School of Business to pursue an MBA. In 2017, they became the Marketing Director and Co-founding member of Datumix, Inc., a Technology startup based in Long Beach CA and Tokyo that develops A.I. solutions to increase operational efficiency for clients. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Founder and CEO of Tippsy, Inc.
Genki Ito obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Nanzan University from 2003 to 2008. In 2015, Genki Ito obtained a Marketing Certificate from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. In 2017, Genki Ito obtained an Introduction to SQL for Business and Finance Course from Cognitir. Genki Ito then earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California from 2015 to 2018.
