Joe Frenette

Joe Frenette has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joe is currently working as a Financial Writer at TipRanks since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Columnist at Motley Fool Canada starting in November 2016. Before their financial roles, Joe worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Avigilon from May 2014 to November 2016. Joe also served as a Test Automation Engineer at Syscon Justice Systems from January 2013 to May 2014. Joe's earlier experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at Pacific Gastroenterology Associates from April 2011 to September 2011.

Joe Frenette attended The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering. Joe has also obtained additional certifications, including Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in December 2018 and a certification in Python from Kaggle.
