Shyam Kapur is a hands-on expert in building search and advertising related technologies having demonstrated consistently his unique insight and abilities. He has already accomplished twenty plus years of outstanding research in data mining, natural language processing, machine learning and information retrieval. He has put his ideas and vision into practice at several major Internet companies (e.g., Yahoo!, Alta Vista, Infoseek) and has also been involved in the founding of/early stages of hot start-ups such as Adchemy funded by August Capital and Mayfield Ventures and MetaLINCS acquired by Seagate.
