Michael Tapia

Michael Tapia is an experienced distribution and operations management professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as Distribution Center Manager at Tire Rack since July 2022, Michael previously held positions at American Tire Distributors as Distribution Excellence Manager and Supervisor, along with roles at UPS as Load Planner and Aviation Operations Supervisor, where extensive leadership was demonstrated. Prior experience includes managing operations at Nivel Parts and Manufacturing, improving productivity by implementing new processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Michael's early career included positions in quality control and mechanics, providing a solid foundation in technical and managerial skills. Michael has an Associate’s Degree from Paradise Valley Community College and has completed various educational programs, including those at Marine Corps University.
