Jayla Ebanks

Jayla Ebanks has a diverse work experience in the arts and communication fields. In 2023, they worked as the Marketing Director at NYU Tisch New Theatre. Prior to that, they were a Digital Content Intern at The Broadway League, where they assisted with video creation, social media management, and program strategies. In 2022, Jayla served as a Graphic Designer at NYU Tisch The Collective and a Wardrobe Assistant at Colt Coeur Theatre Company. Jayla also interned with AKA as a Black Theatre United Intern. In 2021, Jayla was a member of the NYU MLK Scholar Program and the NYU Tisch Dean's Scholar Program. Jayla started their career in 2020 as a Social Media Manager at NAACP and later became the Public Relations Officer for the Black Student Union.

Jayla Ebanks attended Academies at Englewood from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Jayla then pursued higher education at NYU Tisch School of the Arts from 2021 to 2025, earning a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Performance Studies.
