Emmanuel THOMAS, Ph.D., Eng., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the development and industrialization of pharmaceutical and medical devices. Currently serving as CMC Director and Head of CMC at TISSIUM since June 2017, Emmanuel specializes in the design and development of polymer-based Class III medical devices for vascular reconstruction, overseeing quality control laboratory set-up and operations. Prior to this role, Emmanuel worked at DIVERCHIM for over a decade, managing research and development projects involving pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients under cGMP regulations, and leading a team in drug discovery and manufacturing support. Emmanuel's academic foundation includes a PhD in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Faculté de Pharmacie Paris XI, with earlier degrees in organic and bioorganic chemistry.
