Derek Olenek

Derek Olenek has extensive work experience in the electrical industry. Derek started their career in 1992 as an Auto CAD Operator at Preferred Electrical Construction Corp, where they were responsible for converting marked up drawings to Auto CAD for field use. Derek was then promoted to Assistant Project Manager in 1995. In 1997, they joined Gibson Electric & Technology Solutions as a Project Manager, handling small miscellaneous projects and later overseeing larger ones. In 2001, they joined Preferred Electrical Construction Corp again, this time as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on estimating, project management, and CAD engineering and design. In 2004, they moved to Hinsdale Electric Company as Vice President, a role they held until 2007 when they joined Titan Electric as Vice President. At Titan Electric, they managed multiple projects, estimated and marketed, handled project management, billing, change orders, buyouts of major equipment, and design engineering.

Derek Olenek attended Illinois State University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications.
