M.sc. Amerald Simanungkalit P.e.

Amerald Simanungkalit, M.Sc., P.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Design Technician at D&B Fabrication Plus Inc. where they gained experience in design. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Design Engineer at Weyerhaeuser, and during this time, they handled various responsibilities, including designing building floors and roofs and performing structural calculations. Amerald also led significant projects and received awards for their work. From 2009 to 2011, Amerald worked as a Technical Researcher and Teaching Assistant at California State University, Fullerton, where they supervised teams, conducted material testing, and graded homework. Amerald then joined PERI as a Design Engineer from 2011 to 2013, where they focused on designing cost-effective formwork and shoring solutions for concrete construction projects. Finally, since 2014, they have been associated with TITAN Formwork Systems, initially joining as a Concrete Formwork and Shoring Engineer. Amerald progressed to the role of Senior Engineer and then Engineering Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for designing and reviewing formwork and shoring drawing layouts and performing statics and lateral structural calculations. Amerald also oversees 3D modeling and analysis to ensure safety and constructability.

Amerald Simanungkalit, M.Sc., P.E. has a strong educational background in engineering and management. Amerald obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton in the years 2004 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the same institution, completing it from 2007 to 2010.

In 2002 to 2004, Amerald attended Riverside City College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Architecture. Later, in 2013 to 2014, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Engineering/Industrial Management at California Coast University.

Aside from their formal education, Amerald also holds various certifications that contribute to their professional development. Amerald completed the "Leadership Institute" program offered by FMI in April 2023 and has acquired skills in maximizing leadership potential through the "Maximizing Your Leadership Potential" program by the Center for Creative Leadership in September 2021. In April 2022, Amerald obtained certifications in "How to Train Your Brain For Happiness" and "The Fearless Organization (Blinkist Summary)" from LinkedIn.

Furthermore, Amerald is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona, having obtained the PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER certification.
