Jelmar Veenstra

Jelmar Veenstra has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jelmar began their career as a Reis Begeleider at Valys Begeleid, where they were responsible for safely accompanying elderly and physically disabled individuals during train travel. Jelmar then served as an Assistant-bedrijfsleider at Quignon Utrecht B.V., where they supervised a team of 20 and handled purchasing and maintenance tasks.

Later, Veenstra worked as a Floor Manager at The Streetfood Club, where they were in charge of leading a large team. Jelmar also worked as a Barista at de Bijenkorf, handling daily tasks at the City Cafe in de Bijenkorf Utrecht.

Veenstra gained experience as a Stagiair at SOUNDGRAM POST, specializing in Recording and Mixing Engineering. Jelmar worked on audio post-production for various films and projects. Jelmar also had an internship as a recording and mixing engineer at Red Bull Studios Amsterdam.

Subsequently, Veenstra worked at Mr. Finch as a Bartender for a year and then joined Tivoli Audio. At Tivoli Audio, they held multiple roles, including Customer Support Specialist, Sales & Service Administrator, B2B Relations Manager, and currently serves as the European Sales Account Manager.

Jelmar Veenstra started their education in 2007 at Willem Lodewijk Gymnasium, where they pursued their Gymnasium (VWO) degree in the field of Economie & Maatschappij. Jelmar completed this degree in 2014. Afterward, in 2015, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) for a year, specializing in Communicatiemanagement. In 2017, Jelmar joined Sound Education Nederland, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering and graduated in 2019. Lastly, in 2014, they briefly studied at Utrecht University, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
