Tyler McCreary has held various positions in the software engineering field since 2014. Tyler started their career as a Velocity Software Engineer Intern at Cerner Corporation, where they worked with Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby. In 2015, they joined AT&T as an Associate Application Developer, where they developed and maintained an internal web application to track the Software Resiliency Engineering (SRE) team's interactions and findings. Tyler was later promoted to Specialist-Applications Developer and Senior Specialist-Software Engineer at AT&T. In 2019, they joined TEKsystems as a Software Engineer and developed the frontend for a B2B website, tracking customer receivables. In 2022, they joined Kin + Carta as a Software Engineer, where they owned and implemented various features in React Native and created multiple React Native POCs. Currently, they are a Senior Frontend Engineer at Tixr.
Tyler McCreary has pursued a variety of educational experiences. In 2010, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) from Ellsworth Community College. Tyler then attended Truman State University from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science. In 2017, Tyler enrolled in Udacity's Nanodegree program in VR Developer and obtained a certification in June 2018. Tyler is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
