Job Description:

Tjekvik is looking for a Delivery Manager with experience from the automotive industry. The Delivery Manager will responsible for overseeing the successful and timely delivery of projects, with a primary focus on ensuring that software development projects meet their goals, are delivered on schedule, and meet quality standards. The Delivery Manager will work cross-functionally and work close with marketing, operations, sales and customer success to ensure effective and successful roll outs. 

The Delivery Manager will report to the CEO and be in close collaboration with most of the company in particular engineering and product leads, marketing and sales, operations and support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Create comprehensive business project plans from the discovery phase to rollout, defining milestones and coordinating resources for efficient project execution.
    • Collaborate closely with project managers and distributed teams to establish realistic goals and timelines.
  2. Client & Stakeholders Communication:
    • Act as a bridge between the development team and clients or stakeholders.
    • Communicate project progress, address concerns, and manage client and stakeholders' expectations effectively while helping them understand resource constraints and prioritisation.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential risks to project success.
    • Develop and implement strategies to minimize or eliminate risks, being proactive in addressing challenges that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Work with development teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
    • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure that deliverables meet specified requirements.
  5. Cross functional implementation and roll out:
    • Coordinate marketing readiness with marketing
    • Coordinate sales readiness with sales
    • Ensure Operations and Commercial teams are trained, briefed and ready for launch
    • Ensure Business intelligence is operational at launch
    • Ensure all customers are enabled, informed and that customer expectations are meet as planned via initial feedback loops.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Take responsibility for managing project budgets.
    • Monitor expenses and work diligently to deliver projects within budgetary constraints.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze project performance post-completion.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies within the organization.
  8. Adaptability:
    • Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing requirements, technologies, and market conditions in the dynamic field of software development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.).

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Delivery Manager or in a similar role (IT Project Management) in the software industry.

  • Strong project management skills with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong technical background to effectively communicate and collaborate with developers

  • Excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and expertise in the end-to-end delivery of products to meet customer needs

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

  • Possessing high emotional intelligence and the ability to empathise with stakeholder

  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

  • Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English
