Francisco Fuentes has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and construction industry. Francisco founded Tourism & Leisure Development International LLC (TLDI) in 2011, specializing in project management for international hospitality projects. TLDI has partnered with a Dominican landowner for a beach resort project and provided development management services for various projects in Cap Cana.
Prior to TLDI, Francisco worked as the Vice President of Project Management at Playa Hotels & Resorts from 2007 to 2011. Before that, they were the Director of Construction at Coastal Systems Development, where they focused on waterfront development projects. In 2002, Francisco worked as the Marina Project Manager at Cap Cana, managing the construction of Marina Cap Cana.
Francisco's career began in 1991 at Bouygues Construction, where they held various roles over 11 years, including Development Manager for Cuba.
Francisco Fuentes completed their High School education at Colegio Nuestra Señora del Pilar from 1980 to 1984. Francisco then pursued their undergraduate degree at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied Industrial Engineering and obtained their MSc. Eng. degree from 1984 to 1990. To further enhance their knowledge, Francisco enrolled in ESCP Business School from 1990 to 1991, specializing in Total Quality Management and earning a Mastère Spécialisé degree.
