Andrew Tan

Andrew Tan is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Nova, a professional community platform that was acquired in 2022. Tan is also the Founder of Builders Capital, focused on investing in exceptional companies, and serves as a Venture Partner at Tower Research Capital, specializing in applied AI and vertical SaaS. In addition, Tan is involved with TLDR, a modern media company that operates multiple newsletters, and previously led AI product management at Handshake, a prominent early-career platform. Tan's prior experience includes roles at Sequoia Capital, Google, Ironfire Ventures, Berkeley RISE Lab, and AQR Capital Management, with a strong academic background from Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by honors in computer science and business administration.
