John C. Smith

John purchased TMA Systems in 1999 and stepped into the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. His aim was to transform the organization into a leading provider of Maintenance Management Software offered as a Software as a Service. Along with a passionate group of employees, he and his family grew TMA into a premier provider of solutions for maintenance products throughout the world. John proudly directed the strategic direction of the company for more than 20 years.

Prior to joining TMA, John consulted with, owned, or managed several technology companies through his association with Deloitte & Touche, The Williams Companies, Muzak, and several investment banking firms. He serves on the board of directors of several technology companies and has worked in more than 35 countries throughout his career.
