Chris Schneider

Chris Schneider has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Chris worked as a Marine Engineer at TMMG, Inc. where they wrote maintenance procedures for engineering systems on vessels and standardized maintenance within a class of vessels. Prior to that, they worked at Crowley as an Ocean Ranger, monitoring marine discharge requirements on large cruise ships. Chris also served as a Report Reviewer, conducting quality reviews on reports submitted by Ocean Rangers. Chris Schneider also worked at Alaska Marine Highway as a Third/Second Assistant Engineer, responsible for the maintenance and operation of engine room systems on ferries. At TOTE Services, Inc., they worked as a Third Assistant Engineer on a semi-submersible platform, manning the engine control room as the Engineering Officer of the Watch.

From 2010 to 2019, Chris studied Transportation Technology - Maritime at the STAR Center.

From 2016 to 2019, Chris attended the University of Alaska Anchorage College of Business and Public Policy and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management.

In 2022, Chris enrolled in Bellevue College for the course BUSIT 103 - SQL Fundamentals.

Additionally, Chris has obtained various certifications, such as Excel Business Intelligence: Power Query, Excel VBA: Managing Files and Data, Learning VBA in Excel, Inventory Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, AutoCAD Essentials, Google Project Management, Excel: Tracking Data Easily and Efficiently, Finance Foundations: Risk Management, Excel 2016: Pivot Tables in Depth, Learning Data Analytics, Project Management Foundations, and UpKeep Certified.
