Richard Cunningham

Richard Cunningham is currently the Chief Operating Officer at TMMG, Inc., a leading Government Support Small Business, where the focus is on serving military personnel. Previously, Richard held the position of Vice President of Government Services at Eastern Shipbuilding Group, successfully leading the capture team for the USCG Offshore Patrol Project, culminating in a significant contract award in 2016. As Deputy Program Manager for the National Security Cutter Program at the U.S. Coast Guard, Richard managed a $5 billion budget for the construction and delivery of eight National Security Cutters. Richard's career includes roles at Drs Technology as Senior Program Manager, overseeing the DDG 51 Hybrid Propulsion Project, and over two decades as an Engineering Duty Officer in the US Navy, participating in major military operations and contributing to fleet technical support and education. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and an MBA from Troy University.
