Chantal Sudbrack

Chantal Sudbrack is a Senior General Research Engineer and Additive Manufacturing Lead at the National Energy Technology Laboratory since October 2020, focusing on R&D with the Structural Materials Team and leading two programs in additive manufacturing. With extensive involvement in the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society since 2006, particularly in the High Temperature Alloys committee, Chantal has also served as an Educational Consultant at Northwestern University's Center for Atom-Probe Tomography and as a Senior Materials Development Engineer at QuesTek Innovations LLC. Previous experience includes working as a Materials Research Engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center, leading initiatives in additive manufacturing and advancing knowledge in Ni-based superalloys for aerospace applications. Chantal holds a BS in Materials Science from Columbia University, a PhD in Materials Science from Northwestern University, and a BA in Chemistry from Reed College.
