Sam Sweere

Sam Sweere is an Applied AI Research Scientist at TNO-ESI since April 2024, focusing on applied AI research for Philips, while also serving as a Machine Learning Engineer at BigData Republic since August 2022, where responsibilities include developing and productionizing Machine Learning and AI solutions. Additionally, Sam contributes as a pro bono Machine Learning/Data Engineer for the Centre for Information Resilience and has previously worked as an AI Engineer at Ayvens and LeasePlan. Prior experience includes a Research Trainee role at the European Space Agency, where research led to a publication in MNRAS, and an internship as a Computer Vision Engineer at Envision. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Maastricht University and has a strong academic background in Computing Science and Theoretical Physics.
