Aiden Hoyle is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam, engaged in researching psychological effects-based approaches to counter malign information influence tactics as part of the 'Resilience against hybrid threats' program. Aiden also serves as a PhD research fellow at the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence and fulfills the role of academic tutor at the University of Amsterdam, where teaching includes various subjects within the Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) bachelor course. Previous experience includes an internship at TNO, focusing on civil-military influence engagements, and research assistant positions at the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England, dealing with social psychology and linguistic accommodation studies, respectively. Aiden holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Exeter and a master's degree from the University of Amsterdam.
