Daniël Mensink is a scientist specializing in flow and thermodynamics at TNO since September 2022, where research focuses on the impact of surface tension in two-phase flow within a microchannel heat exchanger for chip cooling, utilizing a Matlab model for temperature and heat flow calculations. Prior to this role, Daniël completed an internship at DeWarmte, a startup in Delft, from March to July 2022, developing a Python model to assess the thermal yield of DeWarmte's HeatCycle alongside other sustainable heat sources and storage methods. Daniël holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Energy Technology) from Eindhoven University of Technology, obtained in 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, earned in 2020, following a VWO Gymnasium diploma from CSG Reggesteyn in 2017.
