Faruk Uysal

Scientist at TNO

Faruk Uysal is a scientist at TNO since August 2020 and serves as an affiliated member and radar engineer at the Advanced Radar Research Center, University of Oklahoma, since April 2014. Uysal previously held the position of assistant professor at TU Delft from September 2016 to August 2021, focusing on radar signal processing, waveform design, beamforming, radar image formation, clutter mitigation, and cognitive and distributed automotive radar systems. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D staff engineer at C & P Technologies from March 2011 to March 2014 and as a researcher and teaching assistant at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University from November 2008 to May 2011. Uysal earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Signal Processing from New York University (2011-2015), an MS in Electrical Engineering emphasizing Image and Signal Processing from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering (2008-2010), and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gaziantep University (2003-2007).
