Niels Vonk is a Scientist Innovator at TNO, focusing on bio-based building materials and structures since July 2023. Previously, Niels served as a Doctoral Candidate at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven from August 2018 to March 2023, conducting a study on the hygro-expansion of paper through multi-scale experimental analysis. Niels also participated as an International Exchange Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016. Earlier work includes roles such as Brand Ambassador at Face The Public and Engineer in both the Powertrain and Chassis Groups at University Racing Eindhoven. Niels holds a Doctorate, Ingenieur, and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, as well as a Certificate for Technology Entrepreneurship.
