Wietse Ledegang

R&d Coordinator Aeolus Human Performance Innovation at TNO

Wietse Ledegang is an experienced Human Factors engineer at TNO, with a focus on research related to Human Factors in military aerospace since September 2009. Areas of expertise include flight simulation, eye tracking, motion perception, spatial disorientation, hypoxia, G-loads, upset recovery, and human-machine interfaces. Wietse also serves as the R&D coordinator for the AEOLUS joint innovation center, emphasizing human performance under extreme conditions in military aerospace, including pilot flight equipment and simulation training. Prior experience includes a research role at ADSE Consulting and Engineering, where Wietse conducted a Human Factors assessment of a helicopter cockpit retrofit and completed a final thesis and internship. Academic qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
