Meghna Sohoni

Meghna Sohoni has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Meghna is currently working as the Director of Business Operations at TNTP since August 2021. Previously, they held several positions at Teach For America, including Director of Research and Design-Admissions, Director of Strategic Clarity, Recruitment Manager, 5th Grade Teacher, and Campus Campaign Coordinator. In 2019, they were a Fellow at New Leaders Council. Meghna also worked as a Teacher Action Team Member at Educators 4 Excellence and as an LEE Program Fellow at The Chicago Public Education Fund. Meghna has experience in policy and advocacy work as an Education Policy Intern and Guest Blogger at MinnCAN. Meghna also served as a Summer Reads VISTA at AmeriCorps VISTA and held internships at Al Franken for Senate and the Office of Senator Al Franken. Meghna started their career as a Legislative Intern at the Minnesota State Capitol in 2013.

Meghna Sohoni earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Meghna later pursued a Master's Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction at the same university from 2015 to 2017.
