Hemant Dhingra

Hemant Dhingra is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management roles across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as the Site Lead and Director of Engineering at Toast since March 2022, Hemant is instrumental in establishing the Bangalore Development and Innovation Centre for the fintech platform. Prior to this, Hemant held the position of Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, managing global projects related to Office Collaboration Service and Reply at Mention. Additional experience includes leading engineering efforts at CRED, Uber, and founding Front Benchers Private Limited, where Hemant developed a child security product. Hemant's career also spans roles at Limeroad, VDOPIA Media, PayU, and Cryptic Labs, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development, architecture, and entrepreneurship. Hemant possesses a B-Tech in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad and completed executive education at Harvard Business School in 2019.
