Philippe Bolopion has had a diverse and extensive work history. Philippe has served as the Managing Director at TOBAM since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Human Rights Watch, where they held several roles including Chief of Staff, Deputy Executive Director and Joint Chief Operating Officer (Acting), Deputy Director for Global Advocacy, UN & Crisis Advocacy Director, and United Nations Director. Philippe was responsible for implementing new leadership structures, strengthening management practices, and supervising operations. Earlier in their career, Philippe worked as a UN Correspondent for FRANCE 24 and Le Monde, and as a UN and US Correspondent for Radio France Internationale. Philippe has covered various crises, conflicts, and humanitarian issues around the world. Before that, they served as a Freelance Correspondent in Kosovo, reporting on the conflict, ethnic tensions, and stabilization efforts.

Philippe Bolopion completed a Degree in Political Science and Government from Sciences Po Bordeaux from 1993 to 1996. Later, from 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Journalism from Centre universitaire d'enseignement du journalisme de Strasbourg.
