Mats Backman

Mats Backman is the current director at Tobii. Prior to this, they served as the Group CFO at Trustly from March 2021 to April 2022. Mats has also held the position of Group CFO at Veoneer from April 2019 to March 2021, Gränges, and Autoliv from April 2016 to April 2019. Backman started their career at Sandvik in August 2007 where they served as the Group CFO until they left in April 2016. Mats then went on to work as the General Manager at Outokumpu from January 2001 to August 2007. Mats's other notable positions include CFO Regionbank Stockholm at Nordea from January 1999 to December 2001 and Business Controller at Boliden from January 1996 to December 1999.
