Vlad Hondru

Vlad Hondru is a Machine Learning Engineer currently developing In-Cabin Monitoring solutions at Xperi Inc. Since October 2022, Vlad has also served as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the University of Bucharest, instructing students in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Termene.ro, where Vlad trained and deployed advanced models for legal documents and insolvency predictions. Vlad's earlier career includes work on robotic systems at The University of Manchester and a Software Engineer Intern position at Rolls-Royce, focusing on embedded software development. Vlad holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bucharest and has additional degrees from Imperial College London and The University of Manchester.
