Alexander Elliott has extensive experience in the soccer industry, with a focus on coaching and youth development. Alexander has had roles with various organizations such as TOCA Football, where they served as Vice President and Head of Sporting Experience Innovation, as well as President of TOCA Canada. Elliott was also a founding partner of TOCA Canada, TOCA Football's Canadian branch. Alexander has held coaching positions with Canada Soccer as a Youth WNT Assistant Coach, Capilano University as the University Head Coach, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC as a Youth Development Coach. Elliott was also the Head Coach and Director of Soccer Operations for Quest University Canada's men's soccer program and a founding partner of FootGolf Canada. Additionally, they gained experience as a full-time development coach intern with the Bundesliga youth club 1. FC Kaiserslautern and played as a professional footballer for 1. FSV Mainz 05 e.V. during their career.

Alexander Elliott has a diverse education history. Alexander obtained a UEFA A License in Soccer-Football Coaching and Education from the FIFA between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Portland's Pamplin School of Business from 2005 to 2008. Alexander also attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Business Administration, Management, and Operations. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including a UEFA A License from UEFA in 2017, a National B License from The Canadian Soccer Association in 2013, and a UEFA B License from DFB - Deutscher Fußball-Bund in 2012.
