Matt Hickford

Matt Hickford has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Drilling & Well Intervention Supervisor at Todd Energy since December 2013. Demonstrating remarkable adaptability, Matt has successfully managed diverse well operations, encompassing drilling, rigless wireline, coiled tubing, hydraulic fracturing, and well testing. Previous roles at Todd Energy included positions as a Drilling Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, Completions & Well Intervention Engineer, and Facilities Commissioning Engineer, where Matt contributed to optimizing well programs, enhancing production, and improving operational efficiencies. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
