TOERSA Security Inc.
TOERSA Security is a specialized type of Security Company that is employed to handle alcohol related issues at events and festivals. The name of the company is an acronym for two of the services we provide, Training and On-site Enforcement of the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Through pre-event training of all staff members and on-site enforcement we will greatly decrease the likelihood of any problems pertaining to the sale or service of alcohol. We will be targeting major events and festivals that serve alcohol to the public in Ottawa and the surrounding area. These organizations hold special permits to serve alcohol to the public. Our competitive advantage consists of being better trained than other companies. A great deal of money made by events and festivals comes from the sale of alcohol. This revenue generating activity also carries the greatest amount of risk. By having our staff specially trained and experienced in dealing with issues relating to the service of alcohol we will have an advantage over other companies. Part of the hiring criteria for TOERSA includes First Aid and CPR training, WHMIS, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training, Smart Serve certification, a Security License, and experience working in an environment where alcohol is served. TOERSA Security Guards are also well trained and equipped to perform in other security capacities. Other services that we provide our clients include security at access points, site and perimeter patrols, and 24hr site security. Some of these services are especially valuable to retailers, construction companies or other business that work with expensive equipment. By reducing the risk of theft of your valuable equipment, not only are we helping avoid the possibility of costly insurance claims, we are also providing peace of mind at a price point below our competitors.
