Nico Vierhout

Nico Vierhout is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience in application and product development, particularly in the telecommunications and internet sectors. Currently a co-founder of Toertje, established in March 2024, Nico aims to promote cycling across the Netherlands using an innovative app that integrates route planning with gamification. Prior to this venture, Nico co-founded Leaseauto.nl and served as Field CTO at CircleCI after leading Vamp.io as CEO until its acquisition. Nico's career also includes significant roles at Liberty Global, where responsibilities spanned application and product development across various European subsidiaries, and at kpnqwest as Vice President of Product Development. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from IMD, an MBA from Nyenrode Business University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from Enschede Polytechnic.
