Jalal Mapar is currently serving as the President of Reston Association since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jalal has experience as an Expert in Residence at Toffler Associates. They have also held various positions at DHS Science and Technology Directorate from 2005 to December 2023, including Sr. Advisor for Emerging Technologies, Director of Resilient Systems Division, and Program Manager. Jalal has completed certificates in Driving Government Performance from Harvard University and Management & Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.
