Shachar Shayovitz

Shachar Shayovitz is a Wireless Researcher at Toga Networks, a Huawei Company, since April 2022, bringing extensive experience across major technology firms. Prior roles include Algorithm Engineer at Apple from 2018 to April 2022, Radar Researcher at General Motors in 2017, and Senior Algorithm Engineer at Corning Optical Communications from 2016 to 2017. Shachar contributed algorithms at Vayyar Imaging Ltd. from January 2013 to October 2016 and was involved in research on Turbo decoding for Satellite Communications at Ramot at Tel Aviv University Ltd. from January 2010 to June 2013. Earlier experiences include an RF System Internship at Intel Corporation and serving as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University. Shachar holds a PhD in Information Theoretic Active Learning and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
