Thomas Waites

Thomas Waites has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Thomas is currently working as the Director of Sales at Together Software, a position they started in July 2022. Prior to this, Thomas held the role of Board of Directors - WLU Alumni Association at Wilfrid Laurier University, starting in June 2018. In 2023, they also served as an Advisor at GoNative.io.

From 2019 to 2022, Thomas worked at Properly, where they held multiple roles including Head Of Sales, Sales Lead, and Expansion & Partnerships Lead. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Sales at Modern Utility from October 2018 to August 2019.

Thomas worked as a Residence Life Don from August 2011 to April 2013, managing university residence floors and counseling students. Thomas also worked as a Supplemental Instructor - Economics from September 2010 to April 2013, designing teaching materials, presenting tutorials, and mentoring junior employees. Additionally, they served as the Headstart Coordinator, planning and executing a program for first-year students.

Thomas Waites completed their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2008 to 2013. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Master's Degree in Economics at Queen's University. In the same period, they also completed the Program on Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis from Queen's University. Thomas then went on to become an exchange student at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam in 2011. In 2015, Thomas passed Level I of the CFA Program from the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.
