Leila Sales

Leila Sales has a background in the publishing industry with over 15 years of experience. Leila currently holds the position of Director of Publishing at TOGETHXR, where Leila is developing a book publishing program focused on elevating women's voices in sports. Leila is also the Founder and Book Developer at The Book Engineer, a book development agency working with various clients in the industry. Prior to their current roles, Leila worked as an Associate Publishing Manager at Penguin Publishing Group where Leila edited books for children and managed the imprint's backlist strategy. Leila has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Chicago and also studied abroad at the University of Bristol.
