Itay Brandes

Itay Brandes has extensive experience in DevOps and IT roles. In 2019, they joined Toka as a DevOps Engineer, where they developed and maintained CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, and Bash in containerized environments (Docker and Kubernetes). Itay also developed product microservices using Python. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Freelancer DevOps Consultant, advising startup companies in building efficient and robust CI/CD pipelines from scratch. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at 888holdings as a DevOps Engineer and System Engineer. In their DevOps Engineer role, they built and managed CI/CD flows from scratch in multi-regional production environments under strict regulations. Itay also developed and maintained 4 large-scale internal tools to enhance production services stability. From 2010 to 2014, they worked in the Israeli Military Intelligence as a Software Developer and IT Team Leader, where they were the team leader of the production and corporate environments in 81 unit, IDF intelligence.

Itay Brandes obtained a BS.c in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel between 2014 and 2019. In March of 2014, they also obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification from Microsoft.
