Marc Visnick has held various roles in the publishing industry since 1999. Marc began their career as a Freelancer at ESPN and a Production Assistant at the New England Sports Network. In 2001, they became the Director of Sales for North America at Lonely Planet, as well as the National Accounts US & Canada and Special Markets Manager. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Co-Founder and Director of Sales at Callisto Media. During this time, they developed a new publishing paradigm that combined data analysis with publishing expertise. From 2014 to 2020, they were the Senior Business Development Manager at Ingram Content Group. In this role, they developed new revenue streams for the company's print-on-demand business and increased unit sales. Since 2020, they have been the VP of Sales & Business Development at TKO Studios, a graphic novel publisher. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer & Publisher at TOKYOPOP.
Marc Visnick received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Business, City and Regional Planning, Economics, and Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000.
