Vanessa Gardner

Vanessa Gardner is currently the VP of Marketing & Operations at the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. Vanessa has been in this position since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at the East Texas Symphony Orchestra from January 2017 to October 2020. There, they were responsible for engaging, embracing, and exciting the East Texas community through inspiring musical performance. Before that, Vanessa was the Assistant Director of External Events & Conference Housing at Northeastern University from June 2015 to January 2017. In that role, they oversaw a staff of 75 conference assistants and six coordinators, managed facilities and events for summer conferences, and worked with various campus partners to ensure the successful execution of conference housing and meeting-only events. Vanessa has a passion for music and a proven track record of success in event management and marketing.

Vanessa Gardner's educational career would include their obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in French Horn from The Boston Conservatory.
