Glen Nuckolls

Glen Nuckolls has over 10 years of work experience in the technology industry. Glen began their career in 2000 as a Researcher at NASA Ames Research Center RIACS, where they extended and documented search algorithms for constraint satisfaction problems. In the same year, they were also a Research Assistant at The University of California at Davis, Department of Computer Science, where they developed new efficient data integrity mechanisms features on top of Generalized Search Tree (GiST). From 2004 to 2006, they were an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, where they developed, tested new index structures for (Java based) MoBIoS biological database management system. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Litle & Co. and at NetApp. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Software Engineer and Data Scientist at Quant5 and from 2015 to 2017 they were a Data Engineer at OpportunitySpace. Glen currently holds the position of Lead Data Engineer at Tolemi.

Glen Nuckolls earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Grinnell College between 1989 and 1993. Glen then went on to pursue a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, which they completed in 2003.
