James Morley

James Morley serves as the Group General Manager of Industrial and Employee Relations at Toll Group since February 2023. In addition, James has been an Independent Director at NSW Baseball since February 2018. Previously, James held various HR leadership positions, including Head of HR at South32 from November 2021 to February 2023 and Human Resources Consultant at Ampol Australia in mid-2021. James was the Head of Workplace Strategy at Pacific National from February 2020 to July 2021 and General Manager of Workplace Relations at The NRMA between December 2018 and February 2020. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager of Human Resources and Employee Relations at TNT Australia and People and Culture Director at Lion from 2009 to 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing a vast employee base and strategic workplace relations. James started the career in industrial relations at Qantas and Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety. Academic qualifications include a Master in Employment Law from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Economics in Industrial Relations and Government from the University of Sydney.
