Chief Software Engineer at Tomahawk Robotics

Sean Wagoner has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and computer engineering. Sean is currently working at Tomahawk Robotics as the Chief Software Engineer since March 2019. Prior to this, Sean worked at Harris Corporation from January 2014 to March 2019 as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in designing and writing software for embedded systems and linux processes in an interdisciplinary team.

Before joining Harris Corporation, Sean worked at Drexel University from November 2011 to March 2013 as a Computer Engineer Research Assistant. During this time, they updated a differential wheeled robot, built GPS and GPRS broadcasting and receiving devices, and managed undergraduate students for collaborative projects.

In 2010, Sean worked as an Undergraduate Computer Engineer Research Assistant at the University of Idaho, where they developed an embedded system to sniff RS-485 packets and decoded the packet contents. Additionally, they interned at NASA from June 2010 to August 2010 as a Computer Engineer Internship, working on integrating and verifying a visual algorithm for spacecraft landing zone detection. Sean also interned at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2009 as a Software Engineer Internship, where they were responsible for maintaining and updating the implementation of a legacy software update for NASA's Deep Space Network.

Sean Wagoner pursued their education, starting with the University of Idaho in 2007. Sean completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering in 2011. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at Drexel University in 2008 and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering in 2013.
