Mike Bauer

Mike Bauer has 33 years of security experience covering both the private and government sectors.

He spent 16 years at JP Morgan Chase, where he was the head of Physical Security for the Americas. At JP Morgan Chase, Mr. Bauer honed his extensive experience in physical security reviews, security design and project management. He managed guard force operations, workplace violence programs and investigations, pre-employment screening both domestically and internationally, crisis management, and kidnap for ransom prevention and mitigation. During his government career working at the Central Intelligence Agency and the Department of Defense, Mike worked internationally in high-threat environments protecting US assets through physical security reviews, low-profile executive protection, surveillance detection, counter-surveillance operations, and training of US and foreign personnel. Mike also served in the US Army as a signals intelligence specialist stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute in San Francisco with follow on training at Brigham Young University. Additionally, Mike holds a BA in Criminology from the Ohio State University.
