Japan Mehta

Japan Mehta is a highly skilled scientist specializing in genomics, with extensive experience at leading biopharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as Scientist II at Tome Biosciences, Japan Mehta has played a pivotal role in developing the proprietary "Cryptic-seq" assay, which has led to a provisional patent and a pre-print publication. Previous positions include Senior Associate Scientist at Vor Biopharma, where Japan Mehta focused on molecular and genomic assays for off-target detection and RNA sequencing, and Senior Research Associate at Yumanity Therapeutics, where Japan Mehta engaged in target identification and phenotypic screening. Japan Mehta holds a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics and another Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from Sardar Patel University, complemented by additional training in immuno-oncology from Harvard Medical School.
