Jie Wang

Jie Wang is a highly experienced bioinformatician currently serving as Associate Director at Tome Biosciences, where automated pipelines for next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis have been developed to enhance efficiency across multiple functional groups. Prior roles include Principal Scientist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where analyses of single-cell RNA-seq and scATAC-seq data were conducted, and Research Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo, managing the Bioinformatics Core. Jie Wang's career began with foundational work as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor at UMass Medical School, focusing on transcriptional regulation and epigenomics. Jie Wang holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the Institute of Biophysics, CAS, and a B.S. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Southeast University.
